Cabinet meeting in Silchar postponed owing to natural calamities 

What comes in as a breaking news for the aspirational people of Barak Valley, the cabinet meeting has been postponed owing to natural calamities.

It was announced that the Cabinet meeting will be held in Silchar on May 31.

For the first time in the history of Barak Valley, a cabinet meeting was supposed to be held in Silchar as a part of the initiative of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Due to the ongoing natural calamities where large part of vehicular traffic still disrupted, the government has decided to postpone the scheduled cabinet meeting.
