Cachar DC Keerthi Jalli launches 'Abhijuger Protikar' initiative; will hear public grievance every Friday

In a bid to redress the many pending public complaints, on the occasion of Public Grievance redressal Day ‘Abhijuger Protikar’ has been launched by Deputy Commissioner Cachar Keerthi Jalli.

While speaking on the occasion Deputy Commissioner Cachar Keerthi Jalli said “This step will bring forward in delivering good governance. Every Friday hearing of public grievances will be undertaken from 10.00 AM to 12 noon at the conference hall of DC’S office in presence of heads of all line departments to get quick action against pending grievances.”

She added this would be a platform for the convergence of works to be undertaken and cross-cutting silos of the departments to ensure that common people are being served.

She has suggested that to clean the PHE water supply, scheme from Anuwa Beel can be used, she also suggested that the Beel can be cleaned of hyacinths through MGNEREGA, in addition to that Google tools would be used to keep track of action taken by individual departments actively on real-time basis.
