Cachar DFO Tejas Mariswamy transferred! Palve Vijay Trimbak to replace; Karimganj too gets a new DFO

The Environment and Forests Department of Assam has issued a notification today in which high ranking officials in various divisions of Assam have been transferred.

As per the decision taken, Tejas Mariswamy, IFS, Divisional Forest Officer, Cachar Division, Silchar has been transferred and posted as Divisional Forest Officer, Goalpara Division, Goalpara, with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further order.

Palve Vijay Trimbak, IFS, OSD cum Working Plan Officer, Lower Assam Circle has been transferred and posted as Divisional forest Officer, Cachar Division, Silchar, with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further order.

Chiranjeev P. Jain, IFS, Deputy Conservator of Forest attached to the Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Wildlife), Guwahati has been transferred and posted as Divisional forest Officer, Karimganj Division, against existing vacancy with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further order.
