Cachar: Woman drowns two daughters to death; "I wanted to kill all three of us but I survived," she reveals

She later revealed to the Barak Bulletin, “I did not go to the pond with the intention of killing my children. I went to the pond to end all three of our lives. We remained submerged for some time, and then I surfaced, but my kids did not make it.”

Ajmira Begum is the second wife of her husband, Babul Hussain. After their argument, Hussain went to his other wife’s residence and was sleeping there when the tragic incident unfolded. Begum, in her statement, expressed the depths of her despair, saying, “I have no one in this world, and so I wanted to end the lives of me and my children.”
