Corona patient from Cachar recovers; Himanta Biswa Sarma to walk him out of Silchar Medical College

Some good news coming in from Silchar Medical College and Hospital. Corona patient from Cachar who tested positive on April 4, 2020, has completely recovered. Spokespeople from the District Health Department informed that despite being asymptomatic he tested positive thrice but the fourth time his samples tested negative.

Silchar MP, Rajdeep Roy informed that the Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will visit Silchar and walk the patient out of Silchar Medical College and Hospital himself.

The patient from Peladahar area located near Ranighat in Borkhola legislative assembly constituency had visited Nizamuddin Markaz to attend the meeting organised by Tablighi Jamaat. He is a retired official from the Border Security Force (BSF).

The 57-year-old becomes the first patient to Covid19 patient to recover in Silchar Medical College and Hospital.
