Cardiologist, Dr. P C Sarma tests positive for COVID19; will be transferred to COVID ward

Renowned doctor in Silchar, P C Sarma has tested positive for COVID19. An MBBS, MD, DM Sarma has more than 30 Years of experience as a Cardiologist.

Speaking with Barak Bulletin, Dr. Sarma said that he was suffering from a backache for the last few days. However, since the last couple of days, he had developed Influenza-Like Illness.

“I have been suffering from this back issue for a long time. But yesterday, after I went home I suddenly realised that I have a fever along with a running nose and cough,” informed Sarma.

He was then tested using the Rapid Antigen Test Kit which showed he is positive for COVID19.

The doctor will be transferred to a COVID ward where he will undergo treatment.
