CBSE declares class 10 results; available now on website

The Central Board of Secondary Education class 10 result has been declared.
Confirming the same, CBSE spokesperson Rama Sharma said,  “Students can check the class 10th result 3 pm onwards,l.”
The results will be available on the board’s official result portal cbseresults.nic.in.
More than 18 lakh students appeared for the exams which was conducted in February-March this year. In a feat of sorts, this year, the CBSE is declaring the class 10th result within 38 days of the exam.
Students will also have the option of checking their result directly through Google. The result form is available on the Google homepage itself. Students need to search for the result using keywords like “CBSE result”, “CBSE class 10 result”, “CBSE class 10th result”.
After the result is declared, CBSE will release the marks sheets and other certificates in DigiLocker account set up by CBSE for students.
The board released the class 12 results on May 2 in which 83.40 per cent students passed with two girls clinching the top spot by scoring 499 marks out of the total 500.
Instead of percentage, for class 10, CBSE provides grades to students. Students can check the grade to marks scale on the official CBSE website.
In 2018, CBSE 10th results were released on May 29. Last year, 86.70 per cent students passed in the class 10th examination. The result last year was lower than 2017, when 90.95 per cent students had passed.

CBSE Class 10 students registered a pass percentage of 91.1 percent, a significant rise from 86.07 percent last year. 13 toppers scored 499 out of 500 in the CBSE Class 10 2019 exams.
