Celebration of URUS at Hazrat Fazal Shah Muqam

Urus of Hazrat Fazal Shah was observed with great enthusiasm in the Muqam at Chengcoori Road near College Road, Silchar. Just like previous years, people from all communities irrespective of caste, creed or Religion took part in the celebration.

In this connection Muslim Clerics like Moulana Azizul Haque of Ratabari, Pir Mofizul Haque from Karimganj, Sadique Ahmed Laskar of Silchar Bodo Masjid took part in the religious discussions.

Khichuri, Biriyani etc. was distributed among the devotees and people from all religious identity tasted the delicacies without any hesitation.
