Celebrations galore during Janmashtami in Silchar

Another moment to rejoice and celebrate as the folks in Silchar got together to celebrate the occasion of Janmashtami.

The birth ‘tithi’ of Lord Shri Krishna, the day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Silchar. A huge rally, that is said to be largest so far, was seen proceeding towards Rangirkhari .

The procession had giant pictures depicting the story of Krishna and was each frame was carried in separate vehicles.
