Chief Minister Sonwal to address rally at Ratabari on 14th October

Political parties are geared up as Ratabari Bye Poll is inching closer, both the national parties i.e. Congress and BJP have scaled up their campaigning to conquer the vacant Ratabari LAC seat, which is scheduled to go for poll on 21st October.

While Congress has already pushed its all top state leaders for campaigning at Ratabari, BJP has also planned its Chief Minister to campaign for the party candidate.

Sources from the party have informed that Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonwal will hold two rallies in the poll-bound Ratabari on 14th October, of which the first one will be at Nivia while second will be at Anandapur.

Patharkandi MLA, Krishnendu Paul, who is also the BJP’s election committee convenor, shared the information that the Chief Minister Sonwal will an hour-long public meeting at Nivia on  Monday at 11:30 am. Thereafter he will fly to Anadapur (Sanbeel) and will address the second rally there at 1pm. The chief minister will fly back to Guwahati by 2:30 PM.

It can be mentioned here that, a total of 4 candidates are in the fray at Ratabari whose future is going to be decided by 1,64,830 voters of the constituency. They will exercise their franchise on October 21. Counting of votes is scheduled on October 24.
