Class IX Class X half yearly examinations to held from August 3; postponed due to flood

The flood in Barak has become an issue of concern for all residents. From properties getting damaged to lives being lost, it’s a difficult time for all. And not wanting to let the disaster affect the studies of children, the District Level Internal Examination Committee has decided to postpone the Class IX and X examinations to help students prepare better.

Signed by the Inspector of Schools, CDC, Silchar Cum District Programme Co-ordinator RMSA, Cachar. & Vice Chairman, DLIEC, Cachar, the notice said, “Due to the affect of the recent flood in the district, the District Level Internal Examination Committee (DLIEC), Cachar has postponed the Half Yearly Examination (for Class IX and X)- 2018 (under DLIEC, Chachar) which has scheduled to be held on 26th June, 2018. The Half Yearly Examination (for Class- IX and X)- 2018 (under DLIEC, Cachar) is hereby rescheduled w.e.f. 3rd August 2018 to 11th August 2018 after summer vacation.

We hope this move can give some relief to students and they can prepare well for their exams.
