Class X results to be declared on June 6, announces Himanta Biswa Sarma
The vacation is coming to an end for the State board students who appeared for their school-leaving examinations earlier this year. Today, while briefing the press, Health, Education and PWD Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the state is prepared to declare the results on June 6. He added that he wants the admission process to begin as the State gradually heads back towards normalcy.
The Class X examinations conducted by the Secondary Education Board of Assam commenced with English on February 10, 2020, and concluded in the afternoon of February 29.
According to Indian Express, around 3.58 lakh students appeared in the HSLC examination this year, the evaluation process of which was completed by April 27. The results of Higher Secondary examination can be expected by June-end.
Last year, SEBA declared the results on May 15.
