CM Sarma to visit Silchar on Sunday: Will lay foundation Stone of Nandachand Bridge in Lakhipur

The Chief Minister of Assam, Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma is scheduled to visit the district tomorrow, on the 30th January 2022. He is going to lay the foundation stone of a bridge at Lakhipur and attend some “fixed engagements” at Silchar.

On Sunday, he will reach Kumbirgram Airport via Fly Big Flight at 11:30 in the morning. He will later reach Silchar Circuit House by road at 12:15 in the noon. After a brief halt at the governmental residence, he will attend the fixed engagements from 12:30 to 4:00 in the evening. If sources are to be believed, CM Sarma is likely to visit the RSS Karyalaya in Silchae to meet Mohan Bhagwat, the Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, who is on a 3-day visit to Barak Valley.

At 4:00 PM he will leave for Lakhipur and attend the Foundation Stone laying Programme of Saheed Nandachand Bridge at Lakhipur. After attending the scheduled programme, he will arrive at the residence of Lakhipur MLA, Kaushik Rai.

He will later leave for the Kumbirgram Airport at 8 PM at the end of the day and board the flight at 9:00 PM for Guwahati.
