Coal Scam: Former AIUDF leader who was suspended from party for 'Cam Sex' has been forwarded to Silchar jail

Katigorah Police had arrested Maulana Anam Ullah yesterday for his alleged involvement in the Coal Scam. There are allegations that Anam Ullah has been playing a pivotal role in transporting Coal illegally through Cachar district.

After arresting him, the Police escorted him to Silchar Sadar Police Station where he was kept the whole night. It is worth mentioning here that until last week, Maulana Anam Ullah was a top position holder at AIUDF. In fact, he was the General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the political party.

However, he was suspended after a video recording of his cam sex went viral on social media. The locals of Katigorah alleged that he is a “self-proclaimed” Maulana and was someone always involved in antisocial activities. Moreover, his name surfaced on several occasions as one of the top Coal Mafias in Cachar. Astonishingly, the Police only took action against him after he was suspended from the Political Party.

Today, Maulana Anam Ullah was produced before the judge and as per available information, he has been forwarded to the Central Jail.
