Congress submits memorandum to Cachar DC highlighting rises in price of essential commodities

Cachar District congress on Monday wrote and sent a memorandum to the Cachar DC, highlighting the rise in prices of essential commodities and other hardships faced by common people in this time of Corona scare.

7 points memorandum included defunct water supply plants in villages, shortage of masks and sanitizers, safety of medical staffs at work place, etc.

“There is news pouring in that price of rice and other food commodities have been increased in the market which is bound to create hardship for the people who are unable to work and earn on daily basis” the memorandum added.

Memorandum also mentioned the problems faced by emergency municipal staffs who are not being allowed to commute to reach work as they do not have identity cards.

Memorandum seeked urgent intervention from the Deputy Commissioner to sort out the problems in this difficult time of Corona Scare.
