Cops arrest culprits of Udharbond attack on Police officials 

Diwali eve, Udharbond Police went to raid an illicit gambling hub in Arkatipur area. As the Police officials stopped their van, the gamblers and game dealers started throwing stones at them. Later the Police officials were manhandled by the mob and they had to run away leaving the Police van. The miscreants vandalised the van. 

Tuesday evening Udharbond Police arrested two in connection to the attack on Police officials. They are residents to Arkatipur, Rangpur Part 1, Sudarshan Nunia and Singhason Nunia. As per sources, Police officials conducted a search operation and nabbed the two.

OC of Udharbond Police station, Ashit Sutradhar informed that during interrogation, the duo revealed many other names who were allegedly involved in assaulting Police officials. “We will not spare anyone who was involved in this heinous activity of assaulting the police officials,” said the OC.
