Doctor lodges FIR against Kishor Nath for abusing, manhandling; MLA indicates political conspiracy 

A video has surfaced on Social Media today where a doctor gets abused, punched and threatened by BJP’s MLA from Borkhola constituency Kishor Nath. Dr. Sujit Singh who was on duty at Barkhola Primary Health Centre alleged that Nath along with his security guards and supporters entered the centre and started abusing, manhandling and “assaulting in a life-threatening manner.”

As per the FIR which was filed yesterday by the doctor, the quarrel started with a patient’s attendant. In his complaint, he mentions that Shaibur Rahman Laskar’s wife delivered a baby and needed to undergo nebulisation. Dr. Singh says he explained everything to the patient’s attendant who was hell-bent that all the resources must come from the health centre itself.

While the issue started with that, according to the copy of the complaint, Kishor Nath immediately reached the spot and started using foul languages and the doctor writes that when he tried to ask Kishore Nath to mind his tongue he pushed him and his security officials started beating him. The video that surfaced on social media features all that mentioned by the doctor in his complaint.

In the video, Nath is heard saying, “Restricting because of the Corona outbreak or else would have kicked you,” “Saala Kuttar Baiccha”, “Shut your mouth you bastard.” It’s not clear in the video if Nath punched him or not, also, if the doctor was drunk or high on any other drug.”

When we reached out to the MLA for his comment on the issue he said its something that happened four days back and is now being blown out of proportion. He added, “It seemed like the doctor was intoxicated to me but I did not want to harm his reputation and that is why we did not take him for a medical test. But three days later, he went to a Police station and lodged an FIR.”

Nath believes people are using the video to defame him. “This looks like a political conspiracy against me,” concluded Nath.
