Doorstep vaccination for bedridden in Cachar; Call to arrange jab at home 9401187606

Cachar district health department has informed that it will arrange doorstep vaccination for the bedridden. A mobile team has been set up for vaccinating people who are bedridden and cannot travel to a vaccination centre.

The district administration informed that both the first and second dose will be provided to bedridden residents at the doorstep. For today, 100 first doses and 100 second doses have been set aside.

India has already vaccinated more than 102 crore Indians. Assam has vaccinated more than 2.70 crore residents and out of them, 71 lakhs have been fully vaccinated.

Cachar was slow in the vaccination drive as only a limited number of doses were shipped to the district. However, later it caught up by creating records of most inoculation per day. At this stage, 14,46,961 doses have been inoculated and 3,78,081 residents have been fully vaccinated.
