Explosive Smuggling: Cachar Police Recovers 13kgs of gunpowder and 2900 detonators from Dholai
A joint operation between the Army and Cachar Police resulted in the seizure of 13kg of gunpowder and 2900 detonators at a highway in the Dholai region near the Assam-Mizoram Border. This operation saw the recovery of a significant ammount of explosives.
Based on secret intelligence, today on March 03, in Cachar’s Dholai area, the Military and Cachar Police conducted an operation at a highway near the Assam-Mizoram Border. This operation by Police and Military intelligence was able to seize 13kgs of gunpowder and 2900 detonators.
The explosives were discovered underground at the farmhouse of an individual identified as Selim Uddin, a local from the highway area. However, Selim Uddin managed to run away from the clutches of the authorities. At present, his whereabouts are unknown.
To locate Selim Uddin, an investigation has been initiated by the Cachar Police. Meanwhile, as per reports, it turns out Selim Uddin has been engaged in the illegal smuggling of alcohol products. Along with that, he has also been connected to various other criminal activities. According to reports, he is known as the “Badsha” of the criminal world.
A few months ago, he was arrested and went to jail for his alleged illegal alcohol smuggling, and after coming out of jail, he had again resumed his criminal activities. The investigation into the case is ongoing. Now, only time will tell whether he manages to keep running away or gets caught by
