Fatal Clash in Dholai's Jamalpur Area Claims Young Man's Life
In a tragic turn of events, a 27-year-old man named Babu Laskar lost his life in the Jamalpur area of Dholai. The unfortunate incident unfolded due to a feud between two locals, Sakib Hussain and Anowar Hussain. The disagreement originated from Sakib owing 10,000 rupees to Anowar.
The ongoing conflict between the two parties took a drastic turn last night when Anowar, accompanied by a group of 20 individuals, reportedly launched an attack on Sakib and his two friends. Sakib and his friends, tried to defend themselves using a sharp object, and somehow managed to escape the assault, but tragically, his friend Babu Laskar suffered severe injuries during the altercation.
After the incident, Anowar and his group fled the scene, leaving the locals to assist the injured Babu and transport him to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, upon reaching the hospital, the doctors conveyed the heartbreaking news that Babu had already passed away.
Sakib revealed that he used to drive a Bolero car owned by Anowar Hussain. After an assignment, the car sustained damage, and Anowar allegedly demanded 10,000 rupees in compensation. Unable to pay, a feud ignited between them. Sakib explained that on the night of the incident, he and his friends were walking when Anowar and his group allegedly attacked them from behind.
Sakib, who had already filed an FIR against Anowar, expressed fear for his life, seeking protection from the authorities. Regrettably, this ongoing conflict between Sakib and Anowar resulted in the loss of Sakib’s friend, Babu Laskar.
The incident deeply shook the Jamalpur area of Dholai, prompting residents to retaliate by attacking Anowar Hussain’s residence. The enraged mob damaged one of his vehicles and property. Local police and CRPF swiftly arrived to restore order. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter, but the main accused, Anowar Hussain, has managed to evade legal authorities, and his current whereabouts remain unknown.
