Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared the development on his X handle, formerly known as Twitter. In his tweet, he revealed that the individuals apprehended were identified as Motiur Seikh, Mushiar Mullah, Tania Mullah, and Rita Mullah.
CM Sarma’s tweet read, “This morning at 1:30 AM, Bangladeshi citizens identified as Motiur Seikh, Mushiar Mullah, Tania Mullah, and Rita Mullah attempted to enter India through the Karimganj sector of the India-Bangladesh border.
