Further trouble for commuters; All trains through hills are cancelled till July 20

No respite from the sufferings of the passengers, as railways has extended the traffic block in Badarpur Lumding section upto 20th July. According to latest information received, all the trains in this said section has been cancelled upto 20 July. Our sources has informed, the railway officials are working round the clock and camping at the spot to restore the breached railway communication but incessant rain causing the trouble.

The trains which have been cancelled are-

1. 15612 Silchar Guwahati Express scheduled on 17.07.19 & 19.07.19 has been cancelled.

2. 15611 Guwahati Silchar Express scheduled on18.07.19 & 20.07.19 has been cancelled.

3. 55615 Guwahati Silchar Passenger train scheduled on 17, 18 & 19 July has been cancelled.

4. 55616 Silchar Guwahati Passenger train scheduled on 18, 19 & 20 July has been cancelled.

Short Termination and Partial Cancellation-

1. 13173 Sealdah Agartala KJ Express scheduled on 16.07.19 & 18.07.19 will be stopped at Lumding and will remain partially cancelled between Lumding and Agartala.

2. 13175 Sealdah Silchar KJ Express scheduled on 17.07.19 will be stopped at Lumding and will remain partially cancelled between Lumding and Silchar.

3. 12515 Trivandrum Silchar Express Scheduled on 14.07.19 will be stopped at Guwahati and will remain partially cancelled between Guwahati and Silchar.

4. 20502 Anand Vihar Agartala Rajdhani Express scheduled on 17.07.19 will be stopped at Lumding and will remain partially cancelled between Lumding and Agartala.

5. 14020 Anand Vihar Agartala Tripura Sundari Express scheduled on 15.07.19 will be stopped at Guwahati and will remain partially cancelled between Guwahati and Agartala.

6. 01665 Habibganj Agartala Spl Express scheduled on 17.07.19 will be stopped at Guwahati and will remain partially cancelled between Guwahati and Agartala.

On wee hours of last Friday, landslip was reported from beneath the track at KM 110/4-5 between Jatinga Lumpur station and New Harangajao station of Badarpur Lumding rail section.
