He added that each and every youth of our state must get equal opportunity and there must not be any kind of backdoor method. “Although I have very little idea about the functioning, still our first priority would be to restore the position of this Commission,” added Das.

When he was asked about his reaction on his appointment, getting slightly carried away, he replied, “It’s a mind-blowing feeling.” Regarding his academic career, he shared with us that he was first admitted in the 852, Siristola Nimna Prathamik Vidyalaya. Recollecting his childhood days, he disclosed that as a child, his aim in life was to become a teacher of an L.P. School just like his teacher Sonamani Nath. From there, he continued his education through Baleswar M E School, then Baleswar High School, G C College, Gauhati University. Even after completion of his Master degree, he was still in love with the profession of a teacher. So much was his attraction towards the profession that he left his permanent job of Customs Inspector to join as a teacher of Cachar College with monthly pay of Rs 600.
Lastly, he expressed that he is very much thankful to ‘Thakur’ for giving him so much. “I have nothing more to achieve; what I am today is only because of the blessings of Thakur Ramakrishna.”
