Guardian Minister of Cachar and Hailakandi Jayanta Malla Baruah's Barak Valley visit to start on Oct 26
Assam Cabinet Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah is to reach Cachar on the October 27 as a part of his 4-day tour programme, starting from October 26 upto the 29. He will be embarking on his journey on the today from Dispur and reach Silchar tomorrow, via Kolkata.
He will then head towards Karimganj and attend the Distribution Programme of Micro Finance cheques scheduled there. His next stop will be Hailakandi for which he will leave from Karimganj the very day itself. After attending the day’s meetings and reviews with the DC at Hailakandi, there will be a halt at the Circuit House, Hailakandi, where all the arrangements for his stay have been made.
The next day (Oct 28), Jayanta Malla Baruah will be arriving at Silchar to attend the Distribution Programme of Micro Finance cheques here. Next he will be moving on to attend the review meeting of all departments in the presence of the DC. He will be staying at the Circuit House, Silchar. After checking off all the items on his list of agendas for the day, he will be returning to Guwahati on Oct 29.
He is currently appointed as the PHE (Public Health Engineering) minister, Minister of Tourism, Skill Employment and Entrepreneurship in the Assam cabinet. Along with this, he is also the current Guardian Minister of districts Cachar and Hailakandi.
All the necessary arrangements will be provided to the honourable minister upon his arrival to the valley. Proper and efficient provisions for his accomodation have been made. An airtight security system along with all other necessities will be taken care of.
