Hailakandi boy found dead in Bangalore; another Northeastern killed in Garden City

Son of Azir Uddin Barbhuiya, Shaidal Alam Banbhuiya is no more, Banglaore Police recovered Shaidul’s body today early morning. As per reports the body was recovered next to a Highway in Bangalore.

Shaidul Alam was a resident of South Jyotsnabad part II in Hailakandi’s Lala area. The entire locality is stunned by the sudden death of this young boy and the situation in the village is in a state of shock.

We got to know from close sources that, Shaidul did not return to his rented apartment after finishing his work on Tuesday. He was sharing the apartment with other flatmates. His flatmates searched him throughout the night but could not find him… In the morning, other residents of Hailakandi district living in Bangalore who knew Shaidul, went and identified the body.

According to eyewitnesses Shaidul was murdered and then later his dead-body was thrown next to highway. Police has sent the body to the morgue in Govenment hospital and after all postmortem formalities the body might leave for Lala tomorrow.

This is not the first time a Northeastern is killed in Bangalore, such instances have become very common in the garden city. Many from the Northeastern part travel to Bangalore in search of jobs and Shaidul Alam was one such case.

He is no more… hope Bangalore police will do it’s best to bring justice to his family and most importantly ensure security to million other Shailduls from Northeast working in the IT capital.
