Head-on Collision between Bike and Scooty Near Kabuganj Janata College, Three Critically Injured Rushed to SMCH

A severe road accident occurred near Kabuganj Janata College this afternoon, involving a head-on collision between a bike and a scooty, resulting in serious injuries to three individuals. The injured have been rushed to Silchar Medical College Hospital in critical condition. A Bajaj Pulsar with registration number AS11AA1690 collided with a Hero Maestro scooty bearing registration number AS11K0865.

The incident took place today around 12:30 PM on the Silchar Aizawl National Highway, in front of Kabuganj Janata College. Hearing the loud noise, local people rushed to the scene. Eyewitnesses reported that there were a young man and a woman on the scooty, and two youths on the motorcycle. The individuals on the scooty have been identified as Siddiq Ahmed, 18, and Ulama Begum, 20, from Sonai Kaptanpur. The names of the two individuals on the motorcycle are not yet known.

A local witness recounted the incident, stating, “The Pulsar bike and the scooty met in a head-on collision in front of the Janata College. The scooty was coming out of the college while the Pulsar came from the opposite side and hit the scooty at high speed. Two of them were on the bike and both were badly injured, while one boy, riding the scooty was injured and the girl managed to be safe and unharmed. An ambulance was called, and they have been rushed to the Silchar Medical College.”

Following the incident, local people promptly rescued the injured and sent them to Silchar Medical College Hospital. Police arrived at the scene and took the two accident-affected vehicles into their custody for further investigation.
