Heavy rainfall damages NH 53; one person dead

One has to pay a high price for the wrath of the rain gods. While every year, we pray for a good amount of rain, too much of anything can always be harmful.

After heavy rainfall hit Barak Valley, it has been reported that the Silchar Karimganj road NH 53 has been badly affected. It is also said that the same has caused disruption of traffic at Bangla Ghat, near Kalyani.

Also, in a shocking turn of events a person died last night at Srikona. The cause of the death is yet to be unknown.
