Helpful youths rescue abandoned man from the streets of Silchar, Seek help to trace his family

In a heartwarming act of kindness, a group of youths named Bikash Baishnab, Sourav Das, Veer Chakraborty and Akash Das rescued an abandoned man known by the name Bahadur from Ashram Road yesterday. Bahadur, who originally hails from Himachal Pradesh, had been seen abandoned and destitute for some time before the youths took action.

A few months ago, the group of kind-hearted youths found Bahadur on the streets and took him to an old age ashram. However, Bahadur did not stay there for long and expressed his wish to be left alone at Ashram Road. The youths respected his desire and left him there.

The situation of Bahadur came to light when people posted about him on social media and informed the youths about his condition. Yesterday, the youths picked up Bahadur from the road again. They took him to the house of Veer Chakraborty where he was given a bath and cleaned.

After cleaning Bahadur, the youths reached out to the National Highway Outpost and Paradise Home authorities for assistance. He is currently in Paradise Home now. The youths have urged people to come forward and help trace Bahadur’s family so that he can be reunited with his loved ones.

The selfless actions of Bikash Baishnab, Sourav Das, Veer Chakraborty, and Akash Das have garnered praise from the local community and beyond. Their unwavering dedication to helping Bahadur, a stranger in need, is a shining example of compassion and humanity in action. The youths are hopeful that with the support of the community, they will be able to locate Bahadur’s family and facilitate his safe return home.
