Indigo starts Silchar - Hyderabad filght via Guwahati; To take off at 10:00 AM everyday except Saturday

Flight operation normalises in Silchar airport after Indigo reinstates flight in Silchar Guwahati route w.e.f today.

The fight will also open up direct connectivity of Silchar with Hyderabad via Guwahati. The passenger will no longer need to switch flights, they will remain seated when the flight lands in Guwahati and then take off for Hyderabad.

“Indigo is reinstating the GAU-IXS-GAU flight at Silchar Airport w.e.f. 05-07-2020. Flight no. 6E6538/39 would also provide through connectivity to RGIA Hyderabad via Guwahati” the Silchar airport authority informed adding that they are ensuring safe and secure travel experience of all the passengers.

The flight will operate on all days of week except Saturday. It will reach Silchar at 9:30 hrs and after a brief halt of 30 mins, will fly back at 10:00 hrs.

It can be mentioned here that at present 3 airlines are providing service at Silchar- Air India, Indigo and Spicejet.

Spicejet operating daily flight on Silchar Guwahati and Silchar Kolkata route whereas Air India running biweekly flight on Silchar Kolkata sector.

Indigo, apart from Silchar Guwahati flight operating from today onwards, provides service on Silchar Kolkata sector on 1st, 3rd,5th and 7th day of a week (Count Day 1 from Monday).

The Airport authority has asked all the air passengers to follow the air travel guidelines along with COVID protocols cooperating with Airport, Airlines, Security and Medical personnel for a smooth and safe travel experience.
