Joy Radhe Seva Samiti launches Copy Bank project on Cachar District Day paving the way for education equality
Joy Radhe Seva Samiti, a renowned non-profit organisation, celebrated Cachar District Day yesterday by introducing a groundbreaking initiative—the Copy Bank project. In the presence of esteemed guests, including Deputy Commissioner Rohan Kumar Jha, Superintendent of Police Numal Mahatta, Assistant District Commissioner Yuvraj Borthakur and Antara Sen, the project was inaugurated and received overwhelming support from the community.
The Copy Bank project, initiated by Joy Radhe Seva Samiti, aims to address the lack of educational resources faced by underprivileged students in Cachar District. By collecting and distributing free copies and stationery materials, the organisation intends to provide these students with equal access to education. Recognising the transformative power of education in empowering youth and uplifting communities, Joy Radhe Seva Samiti has taken a significant step toward bridging the educational resource gap prevalent in the district.
During the inauguration, Deputy Commissioner Rohan Kumar Jha commended the efforts of Joy Radhe Seva Samiti in launching the Copy Bank project, acknowledging its potential to make a positive impact in the lives of countless students.
Sri Moushumi Adhikari and Sunayana Paul, the two Assistant General Secretaries of Joy Radhe Seva Samiti, expressed their gratitude to the District Administration and the community for their unwavering support in bringing the project to fruition. They emphasised the organisation’s firm belief in education as the key to empowerment and social upliftment, stating that the Copy Bank project aims to provide a level playing field for all students in Cachar District, regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds.
Vice President Gaurav Chanda announced that the distribution of copies would commence next month and efforts would be made to reach every corner of Cachar District with the assistance of the administration.
As the Copy Bank project embarks on this momentous occasion, Joy Radhe Seva Samiti appeals to the community to contribute copies, stationery, and other educational materials to support this noble cause. The organisation intends to establish multiple Copy Bank centers across the district, maximising its reach and benefitting a larger number of students.
