Keerthi Jalli is new Cachar DC; Megha Nidhi Dahal will replace her in Hailakandi

Department of Personnel, Government of Assam has issued an order informing about the transfer of Hailakandi DC, Keerthi Jalli, IAS as the new deputy commissioner of Cachar. “In the interest of public service, Keerthi Jalli, Deputy Commissioner, Hailakandi is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Cachar vice Barnali Sharma. ACS transferred,” stated the letter.

Speaking with Barakbulletin moments after her transfer, Keerthi Jalli said, “We all will work together.” Cachar is going through a tough time with 8 new COVID19 positive cases being detected within the span of the last 48 hours. When our correspondent asked for a comment on the current scenario, Jalli said, “We will do whatever necessary.”

Jalli who won many awards as the DC of Hailakandi will be replaced by Megha Nidhi Dahal. lAS. “Staff Officer to Chief Secretary, Assam is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Hailakandi vice Keerthi IAS transferred,” informed the letter.
