Lakhipur MLA Rajdeep Goala tests positive for COVID19; Will stay in isolation at home

Congress MLA from Lakhipur legislative assembly constituency, Rajdeep Goala has tested positive for COVID19. He was tested using the Rapid Antigen Test kit at Valley Hospital in Meherpur earlier today.

Speaking to Barak Bulletin, MLA confirmed the same. He said, “Since last evening I was feeling loss of taste and smell. Following which I started doubting. That is why, I decided to get myself tested earlier today,” said Goala.

He informed that he will stay in isolation at his home in Pailapool in Lakhipur. “I have made an isolation unit for myself at my home and distanced from my kids and mother. I do not have any major symptoms and that is why I decided to stay at home,” he added.

Lakhipur MLA confirmed that the remaining members of his family are not carrying the infection. “I have my kids, my mother is also there and that is why I gave isolated myself at a distant,” he added.
