This year one thing has changed though, instead of Normal School premises (where the event was held for 13 consecutive years) the venue was Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan higher secondary school at PWD road Silchar.

District Zonal Lion, Radha Agrawal travelled from Guwahati to Silchar to attend the event. He encouraged other lions to promote this noble work. Besides, Lion members of 12 Lions Club of Barak Valley and Lioness members of Silchar Lions Club were present to witness the couples getting married.

This one of a kind event in Silchar is growing every year, hope next year more couples see their dream come true in this event.
