He visited one CVC in Udharbond area and interacted with the beneficiaries and public in general. He also interacted with different stakeholders to know their views to make the drive successful. In the later part of the day he met with some eminent people of Cachar and asked about their views and suggestions for making the drive successful. He met with health officials to take a check on the readiness and preparations and guided them for the same.

In a mega vaccination program, Cachar district has set a target to innoculate 50,000 doses. For this purpose, vaccinations will be administered in 272 vaccination centers across the district on Friday. Originally, those who took Covishield on June 21, 22 and 23 will be administered Covishield for this in mega vaccination drive on Friday. However, in addition to that the first dose will also be given on Friday.

It’s worth mentioning that the number of control rooms called War Room in the district is 03842- 245 717, 939 461 5256, 9394615252, 9394 615 401 and 9394 339 406.
