Memorandum signed between DC Cachar and Airport director; Cachar Cancer Hospital to get a new Ambulance
A memorandum of agreement (MOA) was signed between Deputy Commissioner of Cachar, Keerthi Jalli and Airport Director, Pradip Kumar Gorai at the conference hall of the office of the Deputy commissioner Cachar on Wednesday in connection with providing financial assistance for procurement of ambulance for Cachar Cancer Hospital & Research Center, amounting to rupees Rs13,09,724.
It is pertinent to mention here that the corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy is authorised to support such initiatives for promoting infrastructure for the convenience of the population with a view to improving the health infrastructure scenario of the locality under corporate social responsibility.
In this regard Airport Authority of India will support the Project by providing financial assistance under its CSR initiative of 13,09,724/ for the work “providing financial assistance for procurement of ambulance for Cachar Cancer Hospital & research center” in Silchar.
This project is aiming to provide an ambulance for Cachar Cancer Hospital & Research center for the greater interest of the public, as the hospital management committee is facing great hardship due to non-availability of good and functional ambulance.
Sharing her contentment over the agreement with the airport authority, Keerthi Jalli said she is hopeful that the initiative would be beneficial to people here. She further expressed her thankfulness to the airport authority for its help to the Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.
