Mid-age man Sanjay Das found dead inside Silchar Jail

Shocking news coming in from the Central Jail in Silchar. A mid-age man identified as Sanjay Das has been found dead inside the jail premises. This incident has quaked the jail administration. 

As per the official spokesperson of the Silchar Central Jail, Sanjay Das was found dead early this morning. The spokesperson said, “We  found him hanging in the bathroom of the Jail. Apart from the mark on his neck, there are no other signs of injuries.’

He added that Das was a drug-addict and was brought to the jail in connection with substance abuse three days back.
Sanjay Das is a resident of Modhura Quarry located in Udharbond constituency.
Police said it is investigating the matter.
