Minister Pijush Hazarika to visit Barak Valley on May 3, Will inspect ongoing projects and participate in various programmes

State Minister for Water Resources, Information and Public Relations, Parliamentary Affairs, Pijush Hazarika will reach Silchar by flight on May 3 with a tour schedule of Barak Valley for two days.

On reaching Silchar, he will first visit some works in Bakrihaor and Katakhal areas of Algapur constituency on his way to Hailakandi district. Later, the minister is scheduled to participate in various programmes in Karimganj via Nivea, Ratabari and Patharkandi.

The next day on May 4, the Minister will return to Silchar and will visit Krishnapur, Sonabarighat, Bethukandi and Annapurna Ghat. After that, the minister will visit Manikpur area of ​​Borkhola constituency affected by soil erosion and then go to Katigorah for inspecting some ongoing works. Later he will return to Guwahati again.
