Mr. and Miss Calendar, 2019 audition in Silchar on November 4

Pratiksha Fashion Studio and Portfolio Agency, a Silchar-based production company, is going to conduct its auditions for Mr. & Miss Calendar, 2019 in the month of November.

Speaking about this, Dr. Pinak Mahanta, proprietor of Pratiksha Fashion Studio and Portfolio Agency, said the first audition will be held in Silchar on November 4, followed by a couple of more auditions. The dates and venues will be announced soon, he said.

Like last year, there will be contests for kids (male and female) in two categories – Master Hero and Miss Diva Junior, 2019. There will be two groups based on age – Group A (4-7 years) and Group B (8-12 years). Apart from that, a contest for married women has been newly added this year – Mrs. Calendar, 2019. All the auditions will be held on the same dates in November.

The calendar shoot, which is one of the special attractions surrounding the event, will be done in different locations of Barak Valley in the last week of November featuring all the participants. There will also be a three-day grooming session before the contest.

“Silchar and Barak Valley has a lot of talent, but they perish into oblivion because of lack of exposure and opportunities. Through the event, we want to provide a platform to the aspiring models. I am very much hopeful that we will receive the same kind of love and support like last year,” Mahanta said. The finale will be held at Banga Bhavan in Silchar on January 5.

There will be different rounds like introduction, ramp-walk and QnA. The winners will get various exciting prizes including free professional portfolio, advertisement assignments and chance to work in video albums among others.

The winners will also get a direct entry into the prestigious beauty contest Pink Villa in 2019.
