National Highway By-pass to be Partially Closed from Saturday due to the Construction of Cross Culvert

The National Highway By-pass at Hailakandi road, Silchar will function partially from Saturday, due to the construction of cross culvert at C.R Avenue, Hailakandi road.

Issuing a letter to this effect on Friday, R.B Chakraborty, Executive Engineer PWD , Silchar & Udharbond territorial road division, Silchar, stated that National Highway by-pass will remain partialy closed for all types of vehicular traffic from Saturday until further order. An official press release issued from DDIPR office of Silchar stated this development.

However, he regretted over the inconvenience caused to the general public in this connection.
