NF railway announces cancellation/short termination of more trains

.The Northeast Frontier Railway on Friday evening announced more train ‘cancellation’ and ‘partial cancellation’ on the backdrop of landslide that occurred between Jatinga Lampur station and New Harangajao station on wee hours of Friday.
According to sources, NF Railway has freshly cancelled the following trains-
1.      15612 Silchar Guwahati Express scheduled on 12.07.19 has been cancelled.
2.      15611 Guwahati Silchar Express scheduled on 13.07.19 has been cancelled.
3.      55615 Guwahati Silchar Passenger train scheduled on 12.07.19 has been cancelled.
4.      55616 Silchar Guwahati Passenger train scheduled on 13.07.19 has been cancelled.
Trains which have been partially cancelled are-
1.      01665 Habibganj Agartala train will be short terminated at Guwahati and will remain cancelled between Guwahati and Agartala.
2.      12507 Trivandrum Silchar Express will be short terminated at Lumding and will remain cancelled between Lunding & Silchar.
Heavy & Continuous rain has paralyzed the connectivity of this valley with outer region. Though no landslide has been reported in Shillong Silchar road yet, but the road is highly vulnerable to landslide in this rainy season. On the other hand, due to bad weather the evening flights connecting Silchar & Kolkata are continuously running late. All together the connectivity of Barak Valley has been hit hard by this incessant rain.
