"Proud of the residents of Assam but the fight against Corona is not over, Lockdown 3.0 is crucial," Sarbananda Sonowal
Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal has appreciated the way residents of the state remained indoors and followed government instructions. Lockdown 2.0 ends today and the Chief Minister through the press, appealed to the mass to follow the instructions in the third phase too.
“Barak, Brahmaputra, and Hills, people across Assam followed the two phases of lockdown. Proud of the residents of Assam but the fight against Coronavirus is not over. Lockdown 3.0 is crucial. I urge people of the state to cooperate with the health department and help the warriors fighting in the frontline,” said Sonowal.
He informed that the Minister of Health will address the state and inform about the protocols later today. “Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in coordination with Ministry of Health is looking into the matter and will brief the nation later today,” said CM.
He urged the people of Assam to encourage and motivate the doctors, paramedical staff and other warriors fighting the invisible enemy from the front. “If they remain motivated and stay encouraged we will manage to win this battle against Coronavirus,” said Sonowal.
He concluded, “If we manage to maintain social distancing and follow the protocols in the third phase of the lockdown, we will emerge victorious in the fight against Corona.”
