Railway service stays disrupted; trains cancelled till July 16

With weather continuing it’s furry, sufferings of passengers to increase more as Northeast Frontier Railway has cancelled all the trains in Badarpur Lumding section till 16th July.

On wee hours of Friday, landslip was reported from beneath the track at KM 110/4-5 between Jatinga Lumpur station and New Harangajao station of Badarpur Lumding rail section. According to Railway sources, due to incessant rain in hills, authorities are finding it tough to restore the track. “Railway officers are camping at the site and monitoring the restoration work. But heavy rain is continuing and making the soil loose” said a press release.

Meanwhile railway has come up with more cancellations.

Cancellations-

1. 15612 Silchar Guwahati Express scheduled on 14.07.19 has been cancelled.

2. 15611 Guwahati Silchar Express scheduled on 15.07.19 has been cancelled.

3. 55615 Guwahati Silchar Pass. from 13th July to 16th July has been cancelled.

4. 55616 Silchar Guwahati Pass. From 14th July to 17th July has been cancelled.

5. 15626 Agartala Deogarh Express scheduled on 13.07.19 has been cancelled.

6. 12504 Agartala Bangalore Humsafar Express scheduled on 13.07.19 has been cancelled.

7. 15944 Barak Brahmaputra express scheduled on 15.07.19 has been cancelled.

8. 15943 Barak Brahmaputra express scheduled on 16.07.19 has been cancelled.

Short Termination and Partial cancellation-

1. 13175 Sealdah Silchar KJ Express scheduled on 13.07.19 & 15.07.19 will be stopped at Lumding and will remain cancelled between Lumding and Silchar.

2. 13173 Sealdah Agartala scheduled on 14.07.19 will be stopped at Lumding and will be cancelled further.

3. 12516 Silchar Trivandrum scheduled on 16.07.19 will remain partially cancelled between Silchar & Guwahati.

4. 12503 Bangalore Agartala Humsafar Express scheduled on 12.07.19 will be stopped at Guwahati and will remain cancelled between Guwahati & Agartala.

5. Silchar New Delhi PSK scheduled on 15.07.19 will remain partially cancelled between Silchar and Guwahati.

6. 20501 Agartala ANVT Radhani Express scheduled on 15.07.19 will remain partially cancel between Agartala & Guwahati.
