“Rajdeep Roy is trying to mislead voters, party workers”: Dilip Paul; “My colleagues getting threatened,” he adds

Two-time MLA from Silchar who recently resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party had called for a press conference earlier today at his election office in Ambicapatty. Dilip Paul, at the very beginning condemned the attack on his polling agent advocate Babu Singh.

“Where are we headed to? All this used to happen in yester-years. This is nothing but disrupting the democratic process. Mr. Babu Singh has filed an FIR,” said Paul.

It is worth mentioning here that Babu Singh has alleged that stones were pelted at his house in Silchar last night at around 7:30 pm. At that time only female residents of Singh’s house were present inside.

Paul also mentioned that a total of 966 members of BJP have resigned from the party with a heavy heart. “They have all joined me in this Dharmayudh voluntarily. Lord Krishna is by my side, victory will be mine,” said Paul.

Yesterday, Silchar MP Rajdeep Roy in a press conference said that the party’s state and central leadership are in discussion with Dilip Paul. By March 16, the scenario will become clearer said Roy.

“Silchar MP Rajdeep Roy is misleading the voters by spreading fake rumours. Earlier he said I am inconsequential in the party and I have got no followers. If that is the case, why am I becoming a headache for them now?” questioned Paul.

He clarified about his conversations with the party leadership. “Only the honourable Chief Minister spoke with me. We spoke a couple of times and the last time on March 11. What we discussed is not something I would like to reveal as it was a personal discussion. Apart from that, I did not have any discussion with anyone. There is no question of withdrawing my nomination. I will contest the elections and that is final,” he asserted.

Dilip Paul has also urged the people to send mass emails to the Prime Minister’s Office in order to inform Narendra Modi about the syndicate raj going on in Assam.
