Schedule of class 10 and 12 examination 2019 announced

It is that time of the year when Class X and XII students spend some anxious moments waiting for the time table of their respective finals. This year, it is certain that the students will have a shortened preparation time as the finals are preponed due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has already declared its time table. The Class XII examinations will kick start with English on February 12, 2019 and conclude with Computer Science and Applications on March 15, 2019.

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has also announced the timeline of school leaving examinations. Class 10 students will sit for the first paper on February 14, 2019 and their last paper is scheduled on March 2, 2019.

3,57,000 students will appear in the HSLC examinations in Assam. Barcode are set to be introduced in the answer sheets for the first time and the board has already issued a notice stating that the students are only allowed to use black pens while writing their papers. Like every year, this year too the board has identified certain centres as sensitive and ‘flying squads’ will be deployed on those centres. Installation of CCTV cameras in each and every centres are made mandatory.
