SEBA announces Class 10 boards routine, exam to start from March 3

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has announced the timetable for the Class 10 board examination 2023. The exam will start from March 3, 2023, with English being the first paper and will end on March 20, 2023. The exam will be held in two shifts for different subjects. Over 4 lakh students will sit for this examination, in 912 centres next year. The board examination of 2023 will be held as per the New Education Policy.

The first exam is English, which will be held for 3 hours from 9 AM to 12 noon. General Mathematics examination is on March 6, 2023, whereas Social Science is on March 9. Both these examinations are also in the morning shift. General Science examination is also in the morning shift on March 13.

Out of 90 mark theory, four subjects — English, General Mathematics, Social Science and General Science — will have 45 marks objective. The questions will carry 1 mark each in the MCQ pattern. This has been done as per the New Education Policy.

 

Last year, a total of 405582 candidates appeared for HSLC final exam in Assam, of whom 229131 or 56.49% passed.
