SEBA to declare class 10 results on May 15
The vacation of class X students are going to get over soon as Secondary Education Board of Assam announced that it would declare the results of Class X examinations on May 15, 2019. The results for both High School examination and High Madarsa will be available online at 9:00 am in the morning and students can collect their marks sheets from their respective schools from 11:00 AM onwards.
3,54,143 students had appeared for the examinations which commenced with English papers on February 14, 2019 and concluded on the evening of March 2, 2019. Students had appeared for practical tests for various papers on January 22 and 24, 2019.
If we recall, last year Karimganj’s Swapnaneel Bhattacharjee was the only student to make a place in the merit list. Babyland English High School student Bhattacharjee scored 584 marks to secure tenth position last year. Sonitpur’s Moonlit High School student, Raktim Bhuiyan had secured top position with 593 marks in 2018.
In 2018, from Cachar district, 18406 appeared out of which 9347 cleared the examination (1st Div – 2367, 2nd Div – 3842, 3rd Div – 3168, Pass % – 50.78). In Karimganj, out of 10277 appeared, only 4625 cleared the examination (1st Div – 1350, 2nd Div – 1957, 3rd Div – 1318, Pass % – 45.22). Out of 6345 students in Hailakandi appeared 3262 cleared the examination securing 51.41 pass percentage (1st Div – 928, 2nd Div – 1488 3rd Div – 846).
May 15, 2019 Barak Valley will get to know if the Island of Peace managed to get more number of toppers in 2019 compared to the previous year.
