Senior citizen stabbed at his own house by a woman in Silchar

In a shocking turn of affairs, a woman entered a man’s house and stabbed him multiple times. The incident took place earlier in the afternoon in Silchar’s Malugram area.

Retired government employee Anwar Hussain’s condition is critical and he has been rushed to Silchar Medical College and hospital. The 65-year-old lost consciousness after being attacked.

Anwar Hussain resides in a rented apartment in Ghoniala ward number 18 area with his wife. Local police rushed to the spot and recovered the weapon used.

Police sources informed that they have managed to detain the woman who stabbed Hussain at his residence. The investigation is still going on.
