Series of robberies on TRK road in Katigorah, Multiple victims attacked and looted

Yesterday night a series of robberies took place on TRK Road in Katigorah, Cachar. The robbers stopped one vehicle after another and carried out the robberies. They also attacked the victims with sharp weapons due to which Sufian Ahmed Barbhuiya of Tarinipur village located in Katigorah was seriously injured.

The gang of robbers attacked two brothers infront of the Govindopur temple on TRK Road in Katigorah while they were returning home after a wedding ceremony. They robbed their cash and mobile phones. Due to the attack, Sufian Ahmed was seriously injured.

The robbers also attacked and robbed another youth, Sujal Paul, who was going for the army recruitment examination on the same night. In this way, the robbers stopped several vehicles and looted cash, mobile phones, jewellery from them last night.
