Shibani Das, a Mid-Day Meal worker donates land for construction of Training Centre

Shivani Das, a Mid-Day meal cook donated her land for the construction of a Non Residential Special Training Centre. She is the resident of Radha Govinda Lane, Ashram Road, Ward No 26, Silchar.

Not only that, she is willing to donate her honorarium, received as Mid Day Meal cook, to the welfare of students only.

This was disclosed by the District Administration of Cachar in a Facebook post. Her selfless gesture and her contribution towards the welfare of deprived children is duly acknowledged by the people with great appreciation.

Her contribution is definitely steps towards achieving the larger goal of creating a better world, which we think is the most fundamental choice that each one of us needs to harness.
