Son axes father to death in Cachar; "He caused problems in my family, so, I had to kill him," confesses 35-year-old

In a shocking turn of affairs, a 35-year-old has axed his father to death. The incident took place last night in Madripar, under the jurisdiction of Banskandi Police Station, Cachar.

Last evening, 35-year-old Pritam Suklabaidya went to his residence, took dao and axed his father multiple times. The neighbours saw 70-year-old Pritish Suklabaidya bleeding profousely. They rushed him to a vehicle but he succumbed on his way to the hospital.

Officials from Banskandi Police Station were reported about the incident and they arrested Pritam Suklabaidya for killing his father. On his way to Police Station, Suklabaidya confessed on camera that he has killed his father.

When asked, why he took the step, he said, “He tortured me mentally, caused many problems in my family and so, I had to kill him.” Adding, “I took the dao from the house and killed him last night.” He seem to have no regrets while confessing that he had killed his father.

He was asked repeatedly to explain the kind of problems his father was causing in his family, but Pritam Suklabaidya restricted himself to, “Those issues cannot be revealed.”

35-year-old Pritam Suklabaidya has his wife and two children at home. He is now in Police’s custody.
